The dog Marusya was busy with her own matters. Homeless animals have a lot to worry about. They need to find food, locate a place to sleep, and avoid unkind people or aggressive companions. She didn’t notice when she ended up on the road. A huge car came by, and there was a strong impact... The person who struck Marusya drove off without stopping. Did he even look back at the dog lying there? Fortunately, people in another car saw the accident and rushed to help the unfortunate creature. Without their assistance, her fate could have been much worse. After the injury, the girl spent her time lying down. But with therapy, she recovered and got back on her paws. A spot was found for her in the “Nika” rescue center, and she transitioned into a new environment.

She is a sweetheart! Once a sad and frightened animal, she has learned to trust people. Marusya is a happy, well-adjusted dog who appreciates life. Even though she is an active girl, she has a bit of extra weight. But you have to understand, she loves to eat! How can anyone resist delicious chicken breast? It’s just beyond her willpower! And what a joy it is, after enjoying her favorite treat, to come to a person, rest her head on their lap, close her eyes, and savor the scratches behind her ears. “Marusya is a good girl, a wonderful dog...” — how blissful it is to hear such praise. This dog has the instincts of a guardian, but she is not made for a kennel with a chain. She is a companion who will both protect and bring joy, as well as offer comfort. This beauty has no problem interacting with other animals during walks, but she probably won’t want to share her owner with anyone.
