On the Victory Day celebration, May 9th, a volunteer was going about her errands when she spotted an emaciated stray dog walking in circles. The girl stopped, trying to get her attention, but the dog didn't react at all. It soon became clear that this little one was blind. Cancelling all her plans, the volunteer took the dog to a clinic. After undergoing tests, a terrible detail was revealed - the dog suffers from epilepsy. This means that this helpless animal faced uncontrollable seizures alone every day, which are accompanied by respiratory failure, oxygen deprivation, and loss of orientation. The doctors couldn't determine the cause of the illness.

A special dog with a kind heart

The dog was named Victoria in honor of Victory Day, and the volunteers affectionately call her Tori. Currently, Victoria is in the caring hands of the staff at the animal shelter "Klyuch Dobra." She has been vaccinated, sterilized, and is given anti-seizure medications daily. Tori radiates a special warmth; puppies are drawn to her, and she welcomes them, keeping them warm under her side and playing with them. Tori also gets along well with other dogs; she lives in the kennel with Tasya and Olcha.

Tori is looking for a responsible family who will love her just as she is and can provide the necessary conditions for a blind dog - a shaded, quiet, and safe kennel or yard. They should also commit to annual check-ups and provide her with daily medications.

Be a part of Tori's fate

Special dogs typically have a harder time finding a home. Give Tori a chance for a happy adoption - share her story on social media or sponsor the "Advertising Package" on the TEDDY FOOD website. Perhaps, thanks to your support, someone will find and love the special Victoria with all their heart?
