Venya was found in the entrance of an ordinary residential building. He was sitting quietly, pressed against the cold wall, as if afraid to take up too much space. The little cat's eyes were inflamed and teary, clearly showing that he had been in need of help for some time. But the most surprising thing was that he didn't hiss or run away. On the contrary, he reached out to people, searching for support with his gaze, as if hoping that someone would come for him. Leaving a sick cat on the cold floor among unfamiliar feet and drafts was impossible, so we took him right away. The veterinarian prescribed treatment, and we provided warmth, comfort, and peace. It turned out that Venya is not just a grateful patient but a true friend: despite what he has been through, he is surprisingly affectionate and trusting.
Calm, affectionate, and independent
Venya is a calm, balanced cat who is completely non-aggressive. He loves being petted, but if he wants some alone time, he will simply step aside (he's not a fan of being held, respecting personal space). He gets along well with other animals: he doesn’t start conflicts, but will stand up for himself if pushed. He adores playful activities, enjoys good food, and then likes to take sweet naps in solitude. Venya would be a great fit for a family with children and other animals.
