Sherri once had a home. Nothing can throw you off balance quite like the sudden loss of it. It feels as though the ground has slipped from beneath your feet and the world has come crashing down. How does one find the strength to live again after such a loss? Sherri is diligently learning to do just that, taking careful, tentative steps. Her previous owner could no longer care for Sherri and brought her to the animal shelter. Having lost her home, Sherri didn’t turn bitter; she just became a bit reserved, more cautious, and mistrustful. A new home will surely change her and transform her into a happy and brave cat with a loving heart.
A delicate and gentle girl
There are certain cats that, once you welcome them into your life, make you grateful for the encounter. Sherri is just such a cat. With a big heart, she is a gentle and soulful girl. Although she is currently quite shy, spending time with her brings a sense of peace. Having a friend like her is truly valuable. She is non-confrontational, obliging, and understands everything! It has been very hard for Sherri to trust people after feeling abandoned and losing her home, but she is really trying! She needs friends and support. Sherri gets along well with Walli and is slowly starting to trust people; it’s important not to scare her away. In a loving home, she will blossom like a spring flower. Sherri is eagerly waiting for her person and believes that her reunion with a family is just around the corner. The sweet girl will thrive in a calm household, without young children or dogs. She will surely get along with other cats!
