Ruta was abandoned by her owners at the summer cottage area. She ended up in a "Trap-Neuter-Return" program and was about to be returned to her familiar habitat, but it turned out there was no one to feed her there. The decision had been made to leave her at the shelter.
A month later her condition deteriorated dramatically. A visit to the vet had been made, and the news was rather shocking - Ruta was diagnosed with cancer. She underwent the surgery, and for the past few months, she's been really active and with a good appetite, and we want to believe her misadventures are over.
Now she needs a responsible, reliable and loving owner. She enjoys being around people - she likes playing, being helpful, and making friends. She gets along with both four-legged companions and children.
