The story of Richard began with a struggle for life. He was found near an apartment building – weak, barely able to stand on his paws. At the animal shelter, it became clear that the cat was sick: he had viral peritonitis (which has been treated!), immunodeficiency, and leukemia. But Richard didn’t give up – he underwent treatment and is now ready for a new chapter in his life.

"I am just what you need"

Richard is a cat with a bright personality. He is affectionate, but only on his own terms, and doesn't like being overly clingy. A handsome boy, confident in himself, he gets along well with both cats and dogs, but he prefers that people respect his boundaries. He would be the perfect animal for someone who values independence in character.
Richard would do well in a family with children over 10 years old, preferably with just one other pet. He can coexist with cats who have similar health issues or with dogs.
