Dara

Dara is living her life. She has experienced events that should have ended her earthly journey more than once. But neither homelessness nor severe injuries could break her spirit. After being hit by a car, this poor girl waited a long time for help. Days went by while she lay under the open sky. Unable to move, she was slowly fading away from hunger, pain, and despair. Volunteers found her “at her limit”. Even in her weakness, she greeted her rescuers with such genuine joy that they long remembered her as the “smiling” dog. Now she lives in the "Vernost" animal shelter along with Sosedka.

A sociable, smiling girl

Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, this dog has gotten back on her feet, gained weight, and is recovering. Of course, she is still far from perfect health. Only a good owner can provide this beautiful girl with the care that can work wonders. She needs a lot of attention to help her recover as much as possible. But the challenges faced by this wonderful smiling dog are only related to her physical state. All the hardships she endured have not affected her character at all. Once clearly a house dog, Dara is very sociable, affectionate, and completely balanced. It’s unclear how she became homeless, but the fact that she hasn’t lost her attachment to people is undeniable. She is delighted with every opportunity to be with humans and feels a special gratitude towards them for their help. She gets along with other animals and shows no aggression.
