As a teenager, Raksha wandered the streets in search of a safe place. She was found and rescued by volunteers, who brought Raksha to the animal shelter, where she has spent most of her life. Raksha is safe now, but no matter how wonderful a shelter may be, it can never replace the warmth of a true home and the love of a family.
