Lastik – one of the representatives of the ginger cat family

Often, cats end up in animal shelters together with their families. Many times, all the kittens are found to have the same illness. This is what happened with the ginger cat family that arrived at the "Domik" shelter. All the little ones had a terrible eye infection. The volunteers worked tirelessly to treat their charges. Some of them, including Lastik, managed to save their vision. Now the little cat is doing well. There are only visible consequences of the illness he went through. His vision has slightly worsened, but it doesn’t prevent him from living a full life. Lastik has settled in a yellow enclosure with his brothers Tyubik and Shurik.

Affectionate and active little cat

The staff at the "Domik" shelter told us that Lastik is a very friendly cat. He is affectionate, purrs like a tractor, and loves to snuggle with people. Perhaps that’s why he earned his name. When the enclosure is being cleaned, the little cat actively participates in the process. He chases after the cleaning cloth, tries to grab it with his teeth, and twirls around people's feet. And why not? He’s helping! Lastik is very attached to people and happily engages in contact, nudging his nose into hands.

As for his interaction with the furry inhabitants of the shelter, Lastik behaves differently with them. He enjoys playing, snuggling, and sitting nearby. However, if something displeases him, he might give a little bite. From our experience, we know that this is perfectly normal behavior for a healthy active cat.
