It was a grim place. The very kind that began as an island of salvation but turned into a true nightmare. On the square meters of a standard apartment, 40 cats lived. 40 hungry mouths, unhappy pairs of eyes, neglected half-sick unfortunate souls. A shelter that seemed safe became a prison for them and a headache for the neighbors. When the volunteers learned about this "cat house," they urgently started finding homes for the animals in shelters and foster care. Kassia ended up in "Zootraining" and lived there for more than a year. Later, she was transferred to "Hope."
Like an uncut diamond…
Who is Kassia? Those like her often go unnoticed. She lacks glamor, a stylish coloring, or amusing quirks. This is where a big mistake happens. Wait, don’t leave. Just look at her, and everything will become clear. She is waiting for a person, for their attention, as if it's something incredibly joyful, desired, and very much needed. Like a schoolboy dreams of summer vacation or a weary traveler scanning for a late bus. So is Kassia; upon seeing people, she stands on her paws as if on command and directs her intelligent gaze at her visitors. Calm and affectionate, this girl wouldn’t trade her tenderness for anything. Even during the adaptation period, afraid of every rustle, she would only relax and start eating when near people. This animal is like an uncut diamond, and inside is a character as precious as a diamond. Indeed, no beauty standards can replace a kind heart. Kassia certainly has that in abundance. Her love is more than enough for an entire family!
