He was left in a carrier at the municipal animal shelter. Someone gathered his belongings and wrote a note saying that this is Benjamin, a good boy who loves to play football, but he is no longer needed by his "mom." Emaciated and skin over bones, this not-so-young Chihuahua found himself without a home or a close companion. Life in the shelter was tough for him; he moved from one temporary home to another but never quite found his place. The little dog suffers from incontinence due to kidney failure. He has been adopted multiple times, only to be returned to the shelter again and again, breaking hearts along the way. He hasn't gotten along with dogs but has made friends with cats. He runs around the territory, interacts with his fluffy friends, digs little holes, chases butterflies or snowflakes, and enjoys each new day.
Playful Ginger
This brave and lively boy is full of courage. He is energetic, clever, and curious. Don't let his small size fool you; in his heart, Benjamin is a lion. He cannot stand competition from other dogs, is headstrong, and charming.
Be There for Benjamin
Little ones like him are made to have a home, but there should be no room for mistakes in adoption anymore.
