Location of the animal: “Nadzhezhda” animal shelter since February 6, 2026

Asfalt came to the dog section of the shelter on his own. At first, he was very afraid to stay and would run away. However, two weeks ago, he returned and even allowed himself to be held. The little guy has an injury — necrosis and an abscess on a toe of his back paw. The injury is old, so he was protecting his paw because of the pain. Asfalt was urgently operated on at the clinic. He spent a week in the hospital and is now in the cat section. He may need further treatment since there is also an issue with his spine due to the injury.

Affectionate but timid

Initially, Asfalt was very scared to stay in the shelter. He is a loving cat, but still anxious due to the new environment, and he is litter trained. He gets along well with other cats.

Asfalt needs support

Support Asfalt with your attention. Share his story on social media and contribute to his promotional package — this will give him a better chance to recover quickly and find a home. The little guy would be very happy to receive gifts in the form of Kitty Days, Kitty Weekdays, or Kitty Months. With these, he will have everything he needs.
