Annie was born at a summer cottage to a pedigreed but homeless cat named Laurel. The mother cat brought her kittens to the people who used to feed her. She trusted them and believed that humans would help her. However, it took several weeks for the volunteers to actually catch them in order to transport them to a safe place. Nevertheless, Annie, alongside her sister Rebecca and her brothers, Mittens and Wesley, was rescued and sent to the shelter with her mother.
Annie is an independent and self-reliant kitty, a black and white beauty. She is not afraid of people yet she doesn't particularly seek for human attention. She doesn't stay on someone's lap for too long and is always in a hurry to do her own thing. She plays by herself or with her siblings. When a person is nearby, she gets serious. Nowadays, she approaches people more often, learning to trust them.
