About the animal
Vileya was found in the January cold near a store, with no residential buildings nearby, but a busy road close by. A noisy road is not the best place for a cat; he was disoriented and freezing. It is unclear how he ended up there at all: volunteers who helped the animal determined that Vileya can hardly see at all. However, he responded immediately to human voices.
A Chance for Rescue
Now, his health is not in danger, although the doctors had to fight against his infections. Vileya deeply appreciates care: he handled all the injections and other procedures excellently, and he began to purr in human hands from the very first day. He is not completely blind, and thanks to the efforts of the doctors, one of his eyes can see 50%. This is a playful young cat, and in a familiar space, he navigates well: you can see this in the video stream from the shelter "Domik," where Vileya is currently staying.
