Paprika arrived at the animal shelter after the end of the summer season. It’s possible she lived with someone at their dacha, found herself in a delicate situation, and was left behind when it was time to return to the city apartment. At the shelter, Paprika had a litter of kittens. They were weak, and only one girl, Vanilla, survived. She was successfully rehomed, while Paprika remained at the shelter.

Headstrong and independent

Paprika has a complex personality, but that may be part of her charm. She does not tolerate familiarity. If she doesn't want to be petted or cuddled, it’s best not to force it. This proud cat will come for affection on her own terms. Paprika stands her ground and may chase away her furry housemates. She is indifferent to dogs and people. She has mastered using the litter box and scratching post. She is looking for a family, preferably without children or other animals.
