Mamusya spent almost her entire life on the streets. She was regularly fed and sterilized over 10 years ago, but no one ever took her in. She always remained cautious and reserved, possibly never having had an owner. Despite her age, she appeared well-groomed for a long time and was healthy.
At the animal shelter, this gentle girl arrived in her senior years after being in a clinic. Currently, her vision is impaired, and she has had a benign tumor removed from her neck. She still finds it difficult to interact with people—Mamusya does not go into hands and does not initiate contact. However, under the influence of calming medication, she allows herself to be petted and even starts to purr.
Health condition
This lovely girl requires ongoing observation and care. The exact main diagnosis has not yet been established—we are awaiting the results of histology after the tumor removal. At this moment, she has been diagnosed with right-sided otitis media, lung metastases, changes in the spine and intervertebral discs, and lymphadenopathy. She needs regular monitoring of her blood, temperature, and blood pressure, along with pain relief, laxatives, anticoagulants, and sedatives. Additionally, care for her stitches and specialized nutrition are necessary—mainly nutritious pâtés such as Recovery.
