A staff member at the shelter found Zvezdochka as a kitten. She was one of several kittens, and like many street animals, they all had infections. Zvezdochka was successfully treated, although one of her eyes couldn't be saved. However, this doesn't hinder cats like her at all. She adapts well, has good vision, and doesn't require any special care.
Right now, it's all in our hands. Starlet is still a bit timid, which she inherited from her street background and her unsocialized mother. She's wary of strangers and might even hiss in an attempt to scare people. Nevertheless, she's not aggressive and can be held, although she's very skittish during such lively introductions. She needs time to get used to people and her surroundings, and once she does, Zvezdochka will start purring and become more open to interactions.
