Yugra was wandering around a gas station outside the city when kind-hearted people regularly fed her. With the onset of frost, they reached out to an animal shelter in hopes of saving the dog. It was clear from her behavior that she had a domesticated past: she knows how to walk on a leash and remains calm in her enclosure.

A wise and sociable friend

Yugra is a very friendly dog who loves socializing. She gets along well with children and shows no aggression towards other animals. However, Yugra is a senior dog with chronic bronchitis, which requires attention to her condition. This sweet “grandma” would thrive in a calm family environment, perhaps with other pets and children, to become the coziest part of their lives.

How to help Yugra right now

You can give Yugra comfort while she waits for her forever home. Treat her on Doggy Days, and your support will help the animal shelter care for her—even from a distance.
