Two cat families, united by a common sorrow, were found in a box in a hallway. Clearly, someone had abandoned these cats, unwilling to take responsibility for their lives and health. Five out of six kittens were unfortunate with their eyes – a severe infection had damaged them beyond recovery. The mothers and their kittens were taken to St. Petersburg in search of help and ended up in a rescue center. Besides Verona, the shelter is now home to her little ones - Smoky and Belyash.
