Once, shopkeepers noticed a cat hanging on the window across the street and called the rescuers. Because of what happened, the cat sustained injuries to his hind legs — but his owner decided not to treat him and indifferently sent him out onto the streets. That’s how he ended up at the animal shelter. Fortunately, his spine was unharmed, and thanks to a rehabilitation course and the care of the shelter staff, Rusik learned to walk again.

He remains trusting and friendly

Rusik is an incredibly affectionate and kind cat. He doesn’t hold grudges against people; on the contrary, he responds to care with trust. He easily gets along with other animals, enjoys playing with children, and will become a full-fledged member of the family.
