Ranеtka and her sister were found in Ryazan – both dogs lived on a chain and were used for fights. When they were taken to the animal shelter, everyone expected to see aggressive animals, but instead, they met two extremely timid dogs in terrible condition: with injuries, scars, and a deep fear of people.

Safe, but still cautious

After treatment and rehabilitation, her sister adapted and found a home, while Ranеtka needs more time. She doesn't show aggression, but she avoids contact and is hesitant to approach first. However, she gets along well with other animals (she has a favorite friend – a Central Asian Shepherd named Chaplin), but people still make her feel anxious. Ranеtka needs an experienced owner who understands that she will require time and, ideally, professional help from a dog trainer and a zoopsychologist.

How to help?

If you are ready to give Ranеtka a chance – come meet her. Or share her story on social media. This will increase the chances of this lovely girl finding a home sooner.
