The workers from the Department of Education found Puma and her three kittens with glued eyes in the basement of their building. Instead of offering help, they've made the cruel decision to poison the whole family. Time was of the essence, and a volunteer, finding out about this, urgently brought a cat trap to the basement. Fortunately, the family was captured and relocated to a shelter just the day before the fateful date.

Mom Puma is very skittish. In the shelter, she and her kittens are safe and receiving the care and treatment they need. While Puma is still wary, her kittens are growing under her gentle protection. This family deserves a loving home where they will be surrounded by attention and patience which will help them regain their trust in people.
