Prosha was born and raised as a domestic dog, but his life took a tragic turn. His owner hardly cared for him, and his existence revolved around wandering freely, searching for food in dumpsters, and spending nights in stairwells. When his owner passed away, he was left all alone on a winter street—smooth-coated and defenseless. Now Prosha is in an animal shelter; his past has affected his health, but he still retains a gentle nature.

Smart and loyal

Prosha is currently a bit shy and distrustful of unfamiliar people, but once he gets used to you, he becomes “one of his own.” He is a cuddly, cozy, and loyal dog who knows how to behave well in a home: he is house-trained, knows his place, and walks well on a leash. He enjoys playing with a ball and longs to become a beloved companion once again.

How to help Prosha

If you are ready to give him a little warmth, you can become his online guardian and treat him to delicious Doggy Days—this will help the shelter take care of him.
