Little Oksi was a house cat, but due to some family circumstances, she could no longer be kept at home and was given to an animal shelter. This treatment threw Oksi into real stress; she couldn't come to terms with the betrayal and doesn’t understand why her life changed so suddenly. Oksi really needs a home and caring hands, a person she can trust.

The beautiful Oksi is actually confused and is acting as one might in a stressful situation—defending herself from everyone at once. When Oksi first arrived at the shelter, she hissed and growled at people, only calming down a bit in the safety and peace where she finally allowed herself to be petted. This wonderful girl, with a piercing gaze filled with the pain of loss, will surely thaw and become happy again. She just needs time and an opportunity to adapt. Oksi really needs someone able to take on the responsibility and give her time to get used to her new circumstances. We hope that Oksi won’t stay in the shelter for long, that someone will notice her and want to make her their beloved companion.
