For a whole five months, volunteers tried to catch Nyusha. She lived in the yard of a cultural center and had been a mother to many homeless kittens. Her last little ones were rescued in August 2024, but Nyusha herself remained elusive for quite some time—she knew too well how to survive on the streets. However, when Nyusha was finally caught, it became clear that she was not wild or aggressive—just very cautious.
Cautious but Caring
Nyusha is now getting used to life in the animal shelter. She allows herself to be petted and softly purrs in response, but she still cannot fully open up. It seems she was once a domestic animal but experienced something that now makes her wary of people. Nyusha needs a calm home and a patient owner who will give her the time and space to believe in kindness again.
Help Nyusha
