Nicolya was brought to a veterinary clinic when he was very young and sick. Poor little Nicolya was tied to the bottom of a box with a thick rope – it was possibly not out of malice, but perhaps out of ignorance, to prevent him from running away. Fortunately, a kind-hearted person rescued Nicolya and placed him in the ""Kotofey"" shelter for homeless cats.

The shelter staff nursed Nicolya back to health, and they were even able to save his eyes. However, he did lose most of his vision. Apart from that, he grew up to be a perfectly healthy kitty! Nicolya is a calm boy but not overly timid. He enjoys interacting with people and isn't afraid of children or other pets. Nicolya is looking for a family that will responsibly care for and raise him, understanding his special needs.
