Naik

The elderly and ailing Naik has endured a betrayal that not everyone could survive. His owner moved to another city permanently, and family members simply tossed the dog out the door. For several months, Naik lived on a mat by the entrance of his former home, bravely guarding his previous owners. He survived on bare bones brought by kind neighbors. However, not all residents of the building appreciated this kind of company. Moreover, Naik developed a large tumor.

Wise and thoughtful

When volunteers arrived to rescue Naik, he desperately resisted but eventually trusted the people and allowed himself to be placed in the car. At the veterinary clinic, it was revealed that his tumor is inoperable, and given his age and health condition, it was decided to let him spend his remaining time at the rescue center. Now, the foundation has become a true home for Naik. He has adapted to his new surroundings, receiving daily care and tasty meals. Most importantly, he is loved here! Naik has proven to be a smart and gentle dog. He doesn’t trust everyone right away, but he gets along well with other animals. This calm old boy sometimes likes to bark if he needs something and is quite particular about his food.
