Mishlen appeared in a summer village in the fall when the nights were starting to feel chilly. He came to one house and hid in a shed with firewood. The owners fed him, but they did not take him in, as the cat was covered in ticks and constantly hungry. As the cold set in, he could not be left outside. Thus, Mishlen found himself at an animal shelter for homeless animals.

A gentle purring boy

Mishlen was timely taken under the care of the shelter staff. The kitten was found to have urinary bladder atony, which required treatment and care. Now, Mishlen’s life and health are not in danger. This boy has quickly mastered the litter box and scratching post. He has a calm and gentle personality, not at all aggressive. He gets along well with his fellow animals at the shelter and may play sometimes. However, he spends most of his time in tranquility, preferring to observe what’s happening from the sidelines. He can fit into any family, including those with other cats or even with feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
