Once, Mila simply appeared in the yard, hiding and surviving, while kind-hearted people began to feed her. She was treated for parasites, sterilized, and helped to gain weight. But summer came to an end, the basements were closed, and there wasn’t a place to take the cat—her caretaker already had four of her own. That’s how Mila ended up in the animal shelter.
