Mila was born in the dark of a basement. Her mother cat tried very hard to hide, ensuring that no dangers would reach her little ones. However, this task is practically impossible. If neither people, nor animals, nor cars posed a threat, then the damp concrete walls were under attack from other enemies — infections. It is unlikely Mila would have lived a long life, gradually consumed by illness. But luck smiled upon her — volunteers rescued the kitten and brought her to the Central Animal Shelter for Cats in Saint Petersburg.

A special girl

Mila received treatment, and now her health is no longer at risk. She lives without fear, plays, gets into mischief, purrs, and loves to cuddle like any ordinary little one. This playful girl doesn’t even notice that the scary days in the basement left her with a sad memory. The infection has damaged her eye, which will need to be removed in the future. However, this doesn’t affect her playful nature or her sociability at all. Mila is a bundle of joy and sweetness; she won't need to change her habits, personality, or forget her sorrows. She is ready for love and care right now, and in return, she will brighten her owner's life with genuine joy and gentle purring. Mila is already litter-trained and accustomed to a scratching post. This girl would fit into any family — she can be a fun companion for children and a loyal, special friend for adults. A gentle being belongs not in a shelter cage, but in the arms of a person. After all, happiness should be shared, not locked away.
