Mikasa was rescued in Pavlovsk along with two of her brothers, but her journey to finding a home has not been easy. At six months old, she found a family, but they returned her the very next day simply because the frightened kitten hid under the couch and accidentally peed there. Her new owners didn't want to give her the time to adjust, which hurt Mikasa's trusting soul — she transformed from a cheerful kitten into a timid little creature.

Star of the shelter

Despite her past, Mikasa remains a kind and affectionate cat, though she is not yet ready to sit in laps like she used to. After a hearty meal, she climbs up to a cozy perch and sings her little cat songs; she also enjoys chatting with her neighbors. Her grace and intelligence have captured the heart of the shelter's only male cat, Timyan, while other animals look to her for support and protection.

Give her attention

Mikasa needs a special person — someone patient and understanding. Give this lovely girl a chance — so they can find each other soon.
