They were lucky to be born in warm summer. The person who placed the puppies in a cardboard box and left it in the middle of a village street didn’t care if autumn rains would soak the helpless ones or if January snowstorms would cover them in a pile. If it weren't for the kind people who discovered the box full of "surprises" left on the road, the unfortunate puppies might have starved to death. Three fluffy girls—wet-nosed, bright-eyed, and wagging their tails—found salvation: Mei, Meloni, and Chili. At first, they were taken in by a home, and then they were placed in an animal shelter.
