Marfa arrived at the animal shelter in a serious condition: emaciated, with a crooked jaw and suspicion of a severe diagnosis. Fortunately, the concerns were not confirmed, but she still had to go through challenges—ringworm, diabetes (currently in remission!), and pancreatitis. Despite all of this, Marfa has kept her kind nature and love for people.
“Marfusha the cuddler”
At the shelter, the little girl is affectionately called “Marfusha the busy one” and “Marfusha the cuddler.” She adores affection, yet knows how to entertain herself—sometimes she engages in amusing little “tigy-dyks” with her toys. She gets along with other cats, although she prefers her personal space. Moreover, she is a big fan of treats—this is a surefire way to win her heart! She is offered to responsible owners with older children, where she will be loved and cherished.
How to help Marfusha now
If you are ready to give this sweet girl care and comfort—fill out the application and come meet her. Marfa deserves a home where she will be appreciated just the way she is. Or, you can provide the cat with a promotional package, so that as many people as possible get to know her, including that special “right” person.
