The story of this cat began sadly. Leto was found on the street near the curator's house, or rather, she was sitting at the entrance to the basement with a distant look. The little one's face was swollen. She didn’t react to food. It was clear right away – she had fallen out of a window! Apparently, Leto had sat there for a long time, waiting for her owners to come for her, but no one came looking. It was difficult to catch her. In her fear, the little cat hid in corners, running farther away but not leaving the yard. After a couple of days in foster care, it became evident that she was still under stress. All the advertisements online and at the entrances didn’t bring success. Later, it turned out that her supposed owners had not treated her, cared for her, loved her, or planned to take her back. So, this unwanted gentle cat ended up in foster care. She was found to have an ear infection, an X-ray was done, and treatment was provided. She spent quite a long time in a cage and didn’t show much love for people. But after moving to the shelter, Leto relaxed and became a sweet affectionate girl. However, she really needs a home and a loving family. This touching face doesn’t know how to fight back, and she gets terrorized by some particularly active neighbors. Hiding and sitting in a closed cage is not good for her at all.
In search of happiness
Leto is an amazing cat, modest and gentle. You immediately want to pet her, envelop her with warmth and care. She loves attention, snuggling, and being petted, fully diving into bliss. At first glance, she seems independent, but Leto is ready to give herself to caring hands and not think about the sorrows she has faced. This little girl will make a wonderful home companion, she is unobtrusive yet will truly become the soul of any home. When Leto is in a good mood, she can have some fun, play with a ball, and even suddenly hiss at annoying neighbors. Then, she becomes a gentle cautious sunshine again. The cat is scared of loud noises and may hide in her little house or a sheltered spot. This appears to be a result of her past life where she wasn’t loved. Leto would be very happy to leave the shelter and move to a new home where she can feel at peace and secure. Ideally, she would do best in a home without children and as the only animal. Leto is litter trained and knows how to use a scratching post; she doesn’t cause much trouble. It’s important to keep an eye on her ears since she had an ear infection in the past and to know that she's a coronavirus carrier.
