Lelya ended up in a shelter at a young age along with her brother. Both kittens were in a dire state, skinny, weak, and infected. They had little chance of survival. Unfortunately, they couldn't save her brother, but Lelya proved to be a true fighter; she survived.

Lelya quickly recovered and turned into a real beauty. She is cautious around unfamiliar people, but if she feels safe and welcomed, she falls in love forever. Lelya is a true lady; she doesn't engage in cat fights and prefers to stay away from noise and commotion. She has mastered the litter box and scratching post. She can be adopted into any family, preferably with children over 10 years old, as the only pet. After all, Leela prefers a calm environment.
