Hugo was found by volunteers, weak and having lost interest in life. He had been hit by a car and lay there injured, with bruises and deep wounds. As it later turned out, he was also tormented by ticks. The boy was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic, where he received the help he needed. Thus began his recovery. After Hugo was treated, he didn’t return to the streets but came to the animal shelter.

Hugo has transformed incredibly in caring hands; even his gaze has changed! Now he is simply unrecognizable. He is a beautiful, healthy dog, very good-natured and calm. Hugo is affectionate and sociable, and he absolutely loves spending time surrounded by people. He is a true friend who will love wholeheartedly and will definitely not let you down. He is not aggressive at all; he is a cheerful and active boy. He loves to play and spend time outdoors but only walks on a leash. Hugo dreams of going to a family where he can shower them with his attention. He will feel comfortable in any active family, possibly with children and other animals.
