Heidi is still a very young cat, almost a baby. She was found by the roadside, scared and exhausted. Compassionate volunteers brought the little one to the animal shelter, but her stress was so overwhelming that she didn’t allow herself to connect right away. Now, Heidi is safe in the shelter and surrounded by care, but she has been diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and needs treatment. Heidi believes that a miracle will happen, that she will overcome this challenge, and that she will find a home and a family.
A girl with a crystal heart
Heidi approaches new people with fear and caution. It seems she had a tough time on the streets. She is unlikely to be the first to approach, but once she gets to know someone better, she will definitely give them a chance. Her heart longs for love, and the shelter staff believes that once Heidi finds her person, her heart will thaw. After all, love can work wonders! Heidi is litter trained and knows how to use a scratching post, which makes her easy to care for. We hope this lovely girl will find a loving and happy family, and we believe that the person who can give her that opportunity is reading this right now! The presence of children or other animals is not critical but can be discussed on an individual basis.
How to help Heidi?
Heidi needs help and support. Every person who does not walk by will contribute invaluable effort to her future. Please assist the shelter with the necessary medical expenses for Heidi and promote her story. This will provide Heidi with more opportunities to recover quickly and find a home and family. And, of course, don’t forget about Kitty Days, Kitty Weeks, and Kitty Months, so that the little one has everything she needs while she heals and lives in the shelter.
