The cat, Gunya, along with her friend Uhtung, came to the animal shelter after the passing of her owner. Before that, she lived in an apartment surrounded by 60 other cats. Gunya and Uhtung currently reside in an enclosure with Bulak and Homer.

Gunya is one of those cats who doesn't see humans as part of her life but can't live without her feline friend. During the time she was being treated in a separate cage, she constantly called for her buddy Masha. When Masha was allowed to spend some time with Gunya, she would fall asleep, cozying up to her fluffy friend's belly.

Gunya would make an ideal companion for a cat that lives in a family setting. She can truly capture hearts, albeit not immediately, as for her, other cats are family, and she can't be without them. Gunya and Uhtung will only be given together to a home without children, though the presence of dogs is welcomed.
