Countess was found along with her sister Knyaginya and other kittens when they were still very tiny, left out in the cold. Volunteers quickly took the little ones to a clinic, where they received an unfortunate diagnosis – distemper. A lengthy treatment and care gave them a chance to survive. Two of the little ones sadly succumbed to the illness, while these two girls made it to the animal shelter. There, they were diagnosed with severe rickets, which was promptly treated. Now, there is nothing that reminds us of those frightening days that the sisters endured. They have become real beauties. Their health is no longer at risk, and these lovely girls are ready to go home.

On the theatrical stage

Countess is a delicate cloud of marengo color. Smart and artistic, she seems to be preparing for a performance. She can portray indifference or pretend to be asleep. She adores playing with small items but is indifferent to active games and jumping – not in her status. She prefers to lounge on the couch like a true aristocrat. Raised in the best traditions, she is litter-trained and accustomed to using a scratching post. Affectionate, with a laid-back personality, she is friendly both to her furry companions and to people, especially loving children. She could easily become a second animal in the family. Countess is very attached to her sister. It would be wonderful if they didn’t have to be separated and could journey together to their new loving home.
