Gosha was found and brought to the animal shelter as a little kitten. The tiny one was emaciated and nearly eaten by fleas, with a broken tail. Fortunately, Gosha was treated, cleaned up, and fed. In gratitude for his rescue, Gosha has grown into a very affectionate and friendly cat.
A Black Belt in Sociability
When you look at Gosha from the side, you see a dark horizontal stripe against a white background, as if he has tied a black belt around a white robe. This little kitty definitely deserves a black belt for sociability and loud purring. He is always close to a person; if you go somewhere—he runs ahead, and if you stop for a moment—he falls at your feet and presents his belly for a scratch. But Gosha won’t let anyone hurt him; he might give a little nip as a lesson.
Gosha grew up in the shelter, but like all shelter animals, he dreams of a cozy home and a loving owner. He knows how to use a litter box and a scratching post and is ready to move in with someone whose legs he can rub his head against while purring sweet songs.
In 2019, Gosha seriously injured his paw, and there is a crack in the bone. He will feel more comfortable in a new home without other cats.
