Once upon a time, Feona was a beloved companion. Being completely deaf, she became unwanted and was discarded in a rather unpleasant way. The little cat was thrown into the cars of passing trains. Conductors would return Feona, but her owner would leave her again in the carriages. One day, the cat made it as far as Western Dvina. Terrified by the noise and unfamiliar surroundings, Feona ran into the road and was hit by a car. With a broken spine, Feona ended up in a rescue center for homeless animals. But misfortune doesn't come alone, and a new calamity struck—her thrombus became dislodged. Yet Feona faced this challenge, losing only two toes on her back paw.

Independent and proud

After her treatment, Feona continued to live in the rescue center. Kind and affectionate, she has not lost faith in humans despite her suffering. Feona is deaf but can stand up for herself. She is looking for a family that will welcome this special girl. Ideally, she would thrive in a home with children over the age of 10, and she’s open to having another animal companion. Feona requires lifelong medication—combipilen and clopidogrel. These medications help thin her blood and reduce neurological symptoms.

Would you like to care for Feona?
