Bonya was born in the basement of a high-rise building. Her mom used to be a domestic animal but was thrown out onto the street while pregnant. Soon, the kittens arrived, and one of them was Bonya. However, not all the residents of the building were pleased with this new neighbor, and the cat family was targeted for poisoning. Unfortunately, the mother cat could not be saved, but Bonya happily moved to a rescue center for homeless animals.

A cautious little girl

Bonya is slowly adjusting to her new life. This kitty isn't fully trusting of people just yet. She is friendly towards those she knows and responds well to affection, but is cautious around her furry counterparts. She may show aggression towards some of the shelter inhabitants. Bonya has learned to use the litter box and the scratching post. She is looking for a family that will be understanding of her as a new member, preferably with her being the only animal in the home. Bonya just needs a bit more time to adapt and learn to trust people.
