Belyj's life has been spent among trash bins and concrete yards. Whether the boy ever had a home is unknown. Kind grandmothers used to feed him porridge with carrots, and it was there, by the dump, that a volunteer from the animal shelter noticed him. Emaciated and suffering from oral health issues, Belyj did not let anyone get close, but help was desperately needed... This is how he ended up in the shelter, where, despite his street habits, he began to slowly get used to care.
Porridge, Claws, and Caution
Belyj is the type of cat who chooses when and how much he wants to interact with you. He allows gentle strokes when he feels calm, but if something worries him, he won’t hesitate to use his teeth and claws. Pain and fear have likely been his constant companions over the years. The boy has dental issues, and touching his face may cause discomfort. However, he enjoys the soft porridge with carrots—perhaps because it doesn’t bring him any pain. He has become accustomed to this after years of living on the streets.
Help Belyj Believe in Kindness
Belyj does not strive to be the "easy" cat. He is genuine. The boy needs time, patience, and gentle affection that isn’t forced upon him. While the kitty continues to live in the shelter, you can support him by funding a Kitty Day on Teddy Food. Perhaps you are the special person who will earn White’s trust and be the first to hold his heart?
