About the animal
Little Athos and his three brothers, Porthos, Aramis, and d'Artagnan, were found deep in the forest, far from the city of Tolyatti. The kittens were in a dreadful state — emaciated from hunger and thirst and suffering from infections. Unfortunately, Athos's eyes couldn't be saved due to a previous viral infection that left him blind.
Shelter staff note Athos's friendly nature. He gets along well with people and all the other four-legged residents at the shelter. He is non-aggressive, loves being petted, and enjoys attentive care. Despite his blindness, he has mastered the usage of a cat litter box and a scratching post. Currently, Athos is gaining weight and regaining strength for his upcoming surgery to remove his eyes.
