Alf was found near a store. He was sitting at the entrance, loudly crying and clinging to the legs of passersby, as if begging for help. Ginger, bold, and endearing — he immediately caught attention. A rescue center volunteer couldn't walk past him. Alf was clean, well-fed, and affectionate — it was clear that he had lived in a home before. It seems he was simply thrown out. Perhaps it was due to one trait that still hinders him from finding a family.
A gentle fluffy boy with a challenging habit
Alf is an incredibly social cat. He loves to cuddle, rub against you, and curl up on your lap, asking for affection. He holds not a trace of aggression — just love. He gets along with everyone: other cats, dogs, humans, and children. But… as ideal as he is in spirit, Alf has one issue: he marks his territory and ignores the litter box at home. In the shelter, he uses his separate litter box or goes outside, but in an apartment — it's a different story. Unfortunately, living in a home is not an option for him. Because of this, he has already been rehomed — only to be returned. Currently, Alf is living in a cat house called "Okhany." He has his own bowl, his own shelf, and the loving hands of volunteers who care for him. But what he needs most is a person. Or a yard. Or a piece of land. Or simply a place where he can be close, loved, and yet free.
How to help Alf?
You can gift Alf your support by sponsoring a Kitty Day, Kitty Week, or Kitty Month. This will provide him with food, care, and attention. Additionally, you can share his story — perhaps somewhere out there is the very person ready to accept Alf as he is. In return, he will offer ginger loyalty and the warmest purring.
