Her life began with hardship and hunger. She searched for food in the bins of Makhachkala. Four-legged friends are not welcomed there, and the little cat faced a bleak fate. A volunteer from Dagestan used a clever trick and secretly placed Vera into a carrier with other little ones. That’s how the girl ended up in St. Petersburg.

Waiting for Happiness

Every day she waits for someone to come for her. She believes that soon she will be loved, needed, and part of a home. With hope, she catches the gaze of every person passing by. Although she feels sad at times, youth takes hold, and now this cheerful and active Vera is already chasing a toy mouse or trying to catch her silly little tail. Smart and quick to adapt, she learns rapidly. This gentle girl loves affection, purrs, and cuddles, and enjoys sitting in your arms.
