It’s hard to imagine what goes on in the soul of abandoned animals. Nikol had no time to ponder. The betrayal of humans meant one thing—she would have to survive on her own. Wandering the streets day and night, she had to forget about trust, kindness, and friendship. So, when Nikol severely injured her paw, she wouldn’t let anyone near, even those who sincerely wanted to help her. There was no time to delay; the wound was becoming increasingly dangerous. Every day, a volunteer patiently worked to establish a connection with the dog, trying to melt her heart. And it worked!

Nikol was brought to the animal rescue center "Give a Paw, Friend!" to undergo all the necessary procedures to save her damaged limb. Now she has recovered and is under protection. With hope and excitement, this little one is waiting—who will become her friend? Having suffered both physically and emotionally, she is ready to believe that there are people who will not hurt or betray her. Kind, gentle, and calm—this is how the staff of the Fund describe her. She gets along well with children and her fellow animals. Nikol really wants to return to a life where every dog has a good owner. She is fully prepared for adoption—healthy, microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. All the future owner has to do is love and care for her.
