About the animal
The young beauty Nika ended up at the animal shelter in an unusual way. She was almost taken from the hands of a would-be owner. By chance, the shelter staff saw a teenage girl holding a cat. It raised concerns that the girl, who has special needs, likely took the animal without her family's consent. They felt it in their hearts that they needed to intervene. As it turned out, the child regularly brings home animals from the street. Nika found herself in an unfamiliar situation and within just 5 minutes at home, she had already gotten into a scuffle with the resident cat. The grandmother forced her granddaughter to return the cat, leaving her sitting helplessly at the door of the store. It was unacceptable to leave this defenseless kitty in a state of stress, so Nika ended up at the shelter. Whether she was a house cat is unknown, and the search for her owners was unsuccessful. Nika has adapted, but she struggles in large groups; she dreams of a family where she can be a beloved pet, perhaps the only one.
