One morning, a volunteer at the animal shelter stepped out onto her balcony and saw a cat lying right on the street below. She was just lying there, alive and unhurt. When she heard the sound of a car, she would move out of the way and then return to her spot. This dangerous spectacle continued throughout the day. It’s unclear how much longer this risky situation would have lasted, but they decided not to take any chances and brought the adventurous cat to the shelter.

The beautiful Mary Shelley loves interacting with people; as soon as someone bends down, she often jumps onto their back and starts playing with their hair.
