Maya was lucky to be rescued. She transitioned from a rescue center for homeless animals into loving hands. Her caring owner joyfully took care of little Maya. When her owner passed away, Maya was left without a home. Thus, the cat found herself in the shelter for the second time.

She is willful, spoiled by the attention and love of her owner. Maya does not demand affection; she comes for it on her own terms. She hates violence and will not allow herself to be petted if she’s not in the mood. Maya is friendly towards people and the furry residents of the shelter. She is a very smart and clever cat. She can adapt to any family, preferably with children older than 10 years. Maya is litter-trained and used to a scratching post.
